In canada what is the legal age for renting a hotel room. Is it 18 or 21 like in the states?

It is age of majority, but call the hotel you plan to stay at some will have some restrictions, I worked at one where you had to be 25, they were a family suites hotel and didn't want young partiers in, to disturb the rest of the guests, they did this by asking for an outrageous deposit...and if all of your money is tied up in a deposit there isn't a lot you can do on your vacation. In canada what is the legal age for renting a hotel room. Age of majority. It depends on which province you plan on going to. Alberta and Quebec it is 18, all others is 19.
