Question about a hotel room i booked online?...details......?

I booked a hotel online and didn't realize it's a no smoking room, it's already paid for so what can i do?...do you think i can ask them for a smoking room once i get there that's equal value to how much i paid already for a room, or can i go outside the door and smoke, is that aloud?...anyone know...thanks. oh ya, and on the conformation paper i printed it says this reservation is to late to cancel, what does that mean? if we end up not going i don't get my money back or what?Question about a hotel room i booked online?...details......?
I work for a hotel. Usually it is not a problem to get a smoking room when you check in (as most people request non-smoking rooms). Does the hotel offer smoking rooms at all? Even if you do get stuck in a non-smoking room, of course you can smoke outside....it's outside. About the late cancel, yes, if you cancel now you will give up your money. You should go. Smoke in the room if it's necessary. People do it all the time (you didn't hear it from me though).Question about a hotel room i booked online?...details......?
Ask the hotel to change your request.


Call them and make a reservation for the same day ';Smoking';...When you get there switch the rooms.
