Can I get a hotel room if i'm only 17?

My friend and I need a place to stay, because we're going to take a road trip to visit a college... It's far, and we need to get a hotel room to rest before we drive back home.





Is it possible that my parents pay for it, and then I check in myself?


They'll just book it for me, in my name, and i'll get it?
