What does it mean: double room/pp or single room/pp. I want to book a hotel room and ';double'; is cheaper. Why?

pp means how much per person...the double means that you will be sharing a room, and each of you will pay the ';pp'; priceWhat does it mean: double room/pp or single room/pp. I want to book a hotel room and ';double'; is cheaper. Why?
double room/pp means you'll have two beds per room and you'll be paying per person.

single room/pp means you'll have one bed per room and you'll be paying per person. What does it mean: double room/pp or single room/pp. I want to book a hotel room and ';double'; is cheaper. Why?
A single room is actually cheaper. With double room it assumes 2 people. And pp = per person. So you have to take the double room rate and multiply it by 2.
because you will be sharing it with another person, that's why the rate is cheaper ';/pp'; (per person)
No, the double room it isn't cheaper.

';pp'; means that the price is per person (per usable bed) and not per room, so you have to pay the double price for the room, because it is a double room and mostly larger than a single room.

Oh, of course you have to pay the double price if you staying alone in a double room.

In Europe these is the common kind of pricing.
Well if you go with your kids you would prefer double room

But if you go with your b/f or husband u must prefer single room..
the double room is more expensive , pp means per person so you are paying twice as much as the single room.
/pp means the price is ';per Person';. For example, if the room was $50 and there were two persons, the total is $100. Single normally means one bed. Double is two beds.
