If you are a minor can you get a hotel room legally?

Basically as I said by law are they required to ID you when you get a room?If you are a minor can you get a hotel room legally?
I had the same question. The answer was no you cannot unless you have certain documents saying you just got here from another country and have parent permission and etc. You need to be 18 in most places some require you to be 21 just to make sure you can pay. It's just a way for them to prevent teens from doing stuff. Hope this helps!

I also wondered if an older person can rent the hotel room for a minor, i haven't heard the exact for sure answer but the answer is no from most people. If you're caught being 17 when the person that rented the room for you is 18, you can get in some deep stuff for that.If you are a minor can you get a hotel room legally?
No you cannot. It does not matter if they ID you but it is due to the fact as a minor you are not able to contact. Renting a hotel room is a contract and being a minor who cannot enter into a contract legally it is uneforceable.
No. You have to be 18. That is the legal age to be able to sign a document. If you are under 18, it is void.
nope because a minor cant enter into a legal binding contract
You need to show ID before getting a room, being a minor you cannot get a room
