im 18 and shes 16 shes coming to chicago with me her dad has gave her permission i found a hotel and i want to get us a hotel to have during the day. technically would i get in trouble for getting us a room is it illegal or only if your caught having sex.

first of all it is totally legal for you to get a hotel room with your girl. yes you are 18 but since you two are only two years apart, it is no big deal. The statutory rape law is set for three years apart and no more, so you are in the clear.


Also, no the hotel will not id the guests, except for you who are getting the room, they must verify that you are able to purchase the room.

i got a hotel with my bf when we were 19 and there weren't questions or problems. and of course we had sex =) with her being 16, that's kind of different. i didn't even go in to get the room - they don't have to know who the other person is. i'd just say to be aware of the state laws for what could get you in trouble age wise. other than that, have fun=)
No. Hotels do not ID your guests. Just walk right into the elevator with her. No need to even tell them you're bringing a guest. That raises suspicions.





The only person you have to worry about is her father.





And remember, check-in usually isn't until 3PM, and check-out is 10 AM.
