What do you think of two office colleagues, man n woman having to share the same hotel room because of office?

policy. Can anything happen in the room? eventhough they are colleagues? Can attraction n feelings develop? What do you think of two office colleagues, man n woman having to share the same hotel room because of office?
i have shared a hotel room with men that were in the same organization that I am in . I'll tell you now , nothing ever happened . We all knew we were in a relationship with someone else and respected our partners and ourselves , not to do anything that would have us ashamed , or ruin our friendship . These men are still my friends and my husbands and i am still their friend and friends with their wives . It's all part of self dignity .What do you think of two office colleagues, man n woman having to share the same hotel room because of office?
I have never heard of this kind of policy, in fact many companys have an opposite policy that if there is an odd number that the odd gets a single room even if there is also an odd of the opposite sex. As a manager I would never arrange for a male and female collegues to share a room. If this truely is a company policy I would approach the Human Resources department about concerns
Personally do not believe it is good policy to have colleagues of different gender sharing the same room .....

Question is not can anything happen, but rather why should it be this way in the first place

Attractions and feelings do not develop just by staying in the same room .... it happens long before this situation becomes something to think about
never share a room with a man...colleague or not unless he's ur brother or ur planning on having sex...cuz u know it's gonna happen...lol
Sounds like a lie, I don't know of any respectable business that would put opposite sexes in the same room.
never a good idea, no matter what!

its a receipe for trouble.... afterall we're humans and temptions are there....
yes most definitely... i hope they are singles...
I think it would be an inappropriate situation to be in. Period. My opinion anyway.
i dont know about that office policy it sounds like a law suit
That's a strange office policy. I've worked in a few offices and they look down on two different sexes sharing a hotel room. The reasons are obvious. That is a very intimate setting and basically invites something to happen if there is any attraction. Plus, most men and women won't be comfortable sharing a room to begin with. It's a bad idea..but I don't buy that it's an actual office policy with all the pc stuff about sexual harassment suits and all that nowadays. Someone could sue based on it being an uncomfortable work environment. I don't believe that.
